Steve Fagan Photography

Steve Fagan Photography is a documentary practice focused on people and place.

Projects are developed through extended time spent in the locations where the work is made, allowing relationships to grow and providing the context needed to photograph life as it unfolds. The work is observational, reflecting real experience rather than brief encounters.

The practice is a collaboration between Steve Fagan, based in Calgary, Canada, and Chadani Lama, based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Steve leads the photographic work and the overall direction of the projects. Chadani is the creative partner and manager, working closely with him in shaping, developing, and guiding each project.
